About

Who signs the opinion.

Ten years of international legal practice in information governance, across multinational operations and chains that depend on information supplied by third parties.

The practice now concentrates on a specific problem: companies that make a claim to the market about origin, impact, practice or compliance, and need that claim to hold when someone challenges it.

The work demands three things at once: understanding the legal regime that makes the claim enforceable, understanding how the supporting information is produced and kept, and reading the chain of contracts that distributes liability among those involved. This practice was built precisely at that intersection.

Practice in Portuguese, English, Spanish and French, moving between the Brazilian, European and Canadian regimes.

Corporate privacy and data protection

Privacy programmes, contracts with data processing clauses, international transfers and artificial intelligence governance continue to be handled for companies, by referral and on a project basis.
